TamTam wins Persgroep pitch
After a strategic pitch between three agencies, the Persgroep decided to choose full-service digital agency TamTam. Together with its sister company Expand Online, the agency will simplify the process of taking out a mobile subscription.
The Persgroep Nederland, with newspapers AD, de Volkskrant, De Gelderlander and Het Parool, is the biggest publisher of daily papers in our country. Smart conversion optimisation and an updated UX design should expand traffic to the landing pages and increase conversion. The project comprises a comprehensive testing phase, which will enable continuous optimisation as of the go-live moment.
Edmond de Boer, business manager recruitment and retention for the Persgroep: “Mobile is the vital link when it comes to sales of (trial) subscriptions. That is why this is more than just a simple re-design. We really need to put ourselves in the shoes of the mobile user. TamTam has surprised us with a completely 360 degree approach and we are looking forward to the initial results.”
Cristian van Nispen, head of the analytics and optimisation team at TamTam: “Assumption is the mother of all fuck-ups. That is why we use smart data. We can thus increase traffic via SEO and test the effectiveness of applications in the design phase, before we go live. Because some things look fantastic in terms of design but, in the end, it’s all about actual conversion.”
