Always wanted to move to Amsterdam?
As a creative developer you believe that there are no boundaries, only opportunities to learn new stuff. You don’t care whether it’s ruby or PHP, just as long as the goals are clear and awesome. You are always looking for what’s next, and none of the social API’s are new to you. You write your own API’s for breakfast, and love to finish up your online marketing campaigns or mobile apps for dessert. The non-digital world is obviously for wusses.
We are Tam Tam. A bunch of 117 people with unique personalities that share a passion for creating great solutions online. We are proud of working with the best at a Dutch top-5 agency creating. Our offices are located in Amsterdam and picturesque Delft (our mother ship). You will be working closely with our design and concept team. We don’t believe in everlasting documentation, or 47 psds per website, but in the power of co-creation and well thought-out concepts. We work for major Dutch and international brands, mid-to-large corporations and non-profit organizations, such as Nestle, Unicef and The Red Cross.
We are looking for;
- Someone who knows his way around API’s like Google, Hyves, Facebook, Twitter, etc
- A creative concepting developer with a just-go-and-try-it attitude;
- A code purist with attention for detail
- A nerd with a GitHub account to share experiments with the world and keep a record of his/her latest findings.
- Someone who’s eager to learn ánd loves to pro-actively share his knowlegde and experience with other developers;
- Someone with several pet projects that do absolutely nothing, but are awesome anyway
Some of the stuff you will need to know or are desperate to learn:
- HTML5 / CSS3
- Linux
- Apache
- MySQL
- PHP (i.e. WordPress)
- JavaScript (preferably jQuery)
- Ruby on Rails
- Python
- C#
We don’t really care how many years of experience you have. We want to hear about your passion for developing awesome web apps or sites. We do want to see some examples of that, but we especially care about your dreams.
